World Premiere Of Erkki-Sven Tüür Symphony No. 8

The world premiere of Erkki-Sven Tüür's Eighth Symphony will be given by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Olari Elts, in its forthcoming 'Symphonies of The North' programme on 30 April at Glasgow City Halls. The piece is programmed alongside Ligeti's Concerto Românesc and the Sibelius Symphony No 3 in C, Op 52. Full details of the concert can be found here - www.sco.org.uk
